If you’re going to be anywhere near Alfriston in Sussex on Saturday 15 December, don’t miss the great event going on there. Under the auspices of Much Ado Books and the South Eastern chapter of the Crime Writers Association, there’s to be an all day programme of top rate crime authors talking about their work and crime writing generally. Peter Lovesey, Ellie Griffiths, Deryn Lake and Tom Bale are but four of them, not to mention the event’s organiser, historical crime novelist Patrick Easter.
